Park Rapids Area Attractions
Itasca State Park: The headwaters of the Mississippi River is only 21 miles North. You can actually walk across the Mississippi River.
World of Christmas is a fun park that’s just 10 miles North of Park Rapids. It has go-carts, goofy golf, batting cages, bumper boats, water games, and more.
Casinos: The Northern Lights Casino is just 30 miles away.
Biking: The Heartland Trail is a 27-mile paved trail that goes through forests and past lakes. Bikes can be rented in Park Rapids.
Golf: There are 7 excellent courses within 20 miles. The closest is 4 miles away!
Dorset: Nearby town with unique shops and restaurants. It is famous for Companeros, a Mexican restaurant.
Dining: There are many restaurants in the area.
Horseback Riding: There are a couple of places that have horseback riding.
