Welcome!

Thanks for checking out our cabin located beautiful Long Lake in Northwestern Minnesota.   The cabin sits on 105’ of private shoreline.   It’s finished from top to bottom in knotty pine.  There’s a living room , dining room, fully equipped kitchen, 3 small bedrooms, washer and dryer, fireplace, and a bathroom.  There are beds for six, which is the comfortable max.    The cabin is very clean, neat, and well maintained.

Long Lake is nine miles long and a half mile wide.  It’s one of the premier lakes in the area, and has both fishing and water sports.   The quaint Northwoods town of Park Rapids is just 5 miles away.   It has plenty of shops, restaurants, and conveniences.  For the golfers, there are 7 courses within 20 miles.  Itasca State Park, the headwaters of the Mississippi River, is just 21 miles away.

Besides the cabin we have a private dock with 3 slips, a boat with a 15hp motor, a large deck with an incredible view, and all of the essentials you need (including cable TV with expanded basic channels).  We’re not a resort, and you don’t have to share anything with the other guests.   More importantly, you don’t have to pay extra for boats, lifejackets, towels, laundry, etc.   In return, we only rent to responsible people who will treat the cabin like it is their own.  Take a look.  We think it’s one of the best values  out there!

ABOUT US:  The cabin is family owned by Craig, Lori, Brad, and Betty Jo Lessen.  We regularly use the cabin ourselves and are simply looking to offset some of our costs.  We enjoyed vacationing in Minnesota so much that  we bought our own cabin.  We’ve put a lot of work into fixing it up and creating a getaway for ourselves and the people we rent to.  We only want to rent to responsible individuals who will also treat the place as their own.   In return, we’re sure you’ll find that it’s a great place and an outstanding value.
